Double clicking local Disk C: failure

Hello,
Ok so when ever i double click my local Disk C: in my computer it pops up with open program with. Now i figured this was a virus and have done several scans online and the one i have on my computer with all of them saying i don't have one. Another thing when you right click the local disk C: under my computer it comes up with some funky symbloes under where explore and open should be. now i can access it thru start > run > C: and other means but this is rather annoying any help would greatly be apprated. i can take a picutre and show if need be and that'll help just let me know

Hi,

I think it's a virus and after running the scans maybe the were deleted or quarantined by they left infected files that cannot work anymore. So

To open the drive c:, do this
On the standard toolbar, click on the button with the name folder and a folder icon, it's going to change your window to windows explorer folders hierarchy on your left hand side of that window, you can open C: by expanding it and any other drive, folders etc.


I thought using cmd or the run command is a bit tiresome that's why i provided you with this option.

Otherwise i would advise you to repair your windows.
