Hello
I have a HP Dx2400 which has Linux, i removed the hard disk and formatted it in another computer of the same model. On returning hard disk the machine boots but only displays "no input signal". What can i do to restore the machine so that i can install Windows XP.

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

Dear Sir,

Could you please indicate how you formatted the hard disk in details

and also if it does boot.

This will help solve your problem.

I removed the hard disk (it had Linux operating system) and connected it as a slave in another HP Dx2400 Computer and formatted using Windows XP service pack 2. It formatted completely. When i connected it back, the machine boots but only displays "No VGA input". If i restore it to factory settings, could this make the machine ready to have Windows installed in it. How can i restore it to factory settings?
