Restore to factory setting

Hello,
I have a toshiba satekite L310 laptop with window xp install on it any time i boot it,it will
boot to a black screen showing only the cusor i am trying to restore to factory setting but
when i press the f12 button it will take to the multi boot setup i need to restore it back to
factory setting to start afresh i will apreciat any help

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

Dear Ferdy,

You will easily be able to perform the task through turning off your computer.

Then hold on the zero key while turning the laptop on.

Hold on until you see "Toshiba Leading Innovation" which appears on the screen.

You will then just need to follow the instructions.

I have tried hold on the zero key it still take me to the
multi boot setup i can see any restore to factory setting
what i can see there is boot to safe mode,network,lask know
configuration and normal i realy need to restore it back to the
factory setting any more help
