Hello all,

I recently bought a WD 1tb external hardrive, I formatted it and manage to transfer all my info to it about 200g out of 3 different computers. It was working fine until 2 days ago. Now when I connect it to any of my computers it doesn't mount and when I opened my utility disk it doesn't give me the option to repair it or verify it. I can see it on the disk utility but no on the desktop or finder. I ran Disk warrior but it says that the drive can not be rebuilt because the file system is not supported? the only 2 options available to me in disk utility is 1. formatting which I can not do as all my work is in the drive. or 2. restoring? I am not sure what that entails and really can't afford to loose all the info. can anyone help???

I am running the WD on a Mac book pro mac os x 10.4.11 but also have the option of a 10.3.9 my bf's computer.

Many thanks in advance for any help given! I would really appreciate some tips and help, will loose my last year work if I can't access info!

Kind regards!!

Configuration: Mac OS X 10.4.11
Firefox 3.0.11
