No sound on my Aspire 4520.
Last answer on Oct 7, 2009 2:03:05 am BST spkrfrkr, on Oct 6, 2009 9:59:28 am BSTHello,
I've got an Windows XP running on Acer Aspire 4520. I've recently formatted the laptop an reinstalled all drivers. Everything seems to be working okay EXCEPT for the Realtek HD Audio. No sound seems to be coming out of the speakers. I've uninstalled (including the related device manager properties) and installed it back a couple of times but it still doesn't work.
If I listen through the headphones, I could only hear some buzzing noise and subtle thumps of bass. Can someone tell me what is the problem?
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.5.3
