Cannot format my pendrive

Hello,
i have 2gn transcend pen drive.i cannot format it.it have both FAT and FAT32 .whenever i format my system displays WINDOWS UNABLE TO FORMAT.please help me to format it

Connect your pendrive and try to use it as EXTERNAL HARDRIVE and then try it to format.i ma sure it wud b done now
