Hello,
sir i connect one leaptop and one desktop together through lan and give ip address on both
its ping properly some time an error comes after all its ping
now i want to open shared folder in my network places how it happens

I suggest you run the network setup wizard first, then enable sharing on a folder, etc etc...see the articles above for more info. Smile, it's fun...
