Computer wont start after spyware warning

Hello,
i have recieved a spyware alert on my computer which which changed the desktop image that i had set saying that there was spyware on my computer and to remove it. i ran spybot and after fixing the problems i tried it again too make sure it was clear, during this my computer froze and i was forced to turn the computer off at the wall, upon restarting the cpu it gets to the end of the windows loading screen then flashes something on the bluescreen and restarts the process again and it will not restart in safe mode can anyone help

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.5

You should clean your registry.
Spyware corrupt your registry.
I use Registry Easy for a long time, it is great.
