HP Pavillion DV5

Hello,
I have just upgraded the firmware on my Blu Ray drive in my HP laptop. I restarted the laptop which windows said needed to me done after the hp logo is displayed the screen stays black. I can enter setup via F2 if i reboot I have ran all diagnostics checks available memory and hard disk with no errors but I cannot get windows to even attempt to boot. Nor can I boot from CD to reinstall whichever boot option I choose I cannot get past the black screen immeidiatley after the HP logo. Can anyone help please.

Hi, I cant check for anyfiles, the system will not boot past the bios screen. It will not boot at all, I have tried booting from CD/HD/USB have even tried another HD which i know is working but it will not get past the black screen after the HP logo.
