Dear Sir,

The most relevant advantage of the blue ray disc is that under the use of a single layer it will be able to hold

same amount of information than a normal DVD being of 27 GB. Yet it has also the double layer which will

allow the user to store 50 GB. If you are left a bit under wonder, this means that you will be able to store

some 4.5 hours of high definition video on it. It is a definte advantage that the new technology presents to the

world. It is really advantageous. Yet the non numerous disadvantaged will remain on its price. Yes the blue ray

technology has not yet created an extensive market and are still expensive to be obtained on the market. I

don't believe that consumers will be too imposing about the expensive price since the blue ray disk is really

worth. Previously simple scratches could make DVDs unable to be read. However the blue ray disks has a new

coat which protects the data stored in the disk.
