Help!!!iTunes+iPod Nano+Mac OSX 10.3.9=FAIL

EEK! An iPod 8 gig.....stupid little thing.....*angry*
Anywho, I plug it in to my computer,(I have a Mac OS X 10.3.9.) and iTunes says that I need a later version of iTunes.
So, I go to apple.com and I try to download iTunes 9.0....But it says I need a later version of Mac! Now how am I supposed to put songs on my iPod without buying a new computer?! I'm so confused.

Dear Sir,

Please try updating the latest version that you have actually downloaded.

It might be that there have different additional plugins that have recently been added to it.

This should allow you to use it properly then.
