Auto-shutdown.

Hello, I brought my computer to my friends house, and when booting up it just suddenly shut down, its never happened to me before, at any time. Also, it worked after I took all the pieces apart, then re-connected them, atleast for 10 minutes, then it went back to the same old. I seriously have no idea whats wrong. I haven't tried removing the RAM or the processor tho, but I doubt it. Please get back to me, I mean, I spent alot of money on this piece of hardware, and would be a shame to watch them all go down the drain.

Sounds like a faulty power supply to me. Replace it with a new one (generic 450 watt ATX is fine) and you should be good to go.
