PSP and TV downloads

Hello,
Can you download programmes from BBC iplayer and the ITV and Channel 4 equivelants to a PSP or a decent new phone, like an iphone or similar? I imagine you can stream them but I want to save them to watch on my weekend commute. The alternative is downloading them to a palm-top type PC but I can't be arsed with a laptop where batteries are useless after 12 months. I have been told that by downloading Abode 9 to a PSP it can support my needs?

Dear Mikey,

You can indeed download through BBC iplayer.

However you will have to download the application for portable devices.

This software will allow you to download the programme you are wanting to.

Thank You.
