Virus won't let me do anything

Hello,
I had the Windows Police Pro and the Security System virus and know I can't open any programs. When I try I get the window that say Open With for anything I try to open including system restore even in safe mode.

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.5.3

Dear freeze,

In order to settle this problem you should get deactivating the anti virus and uninstalling it.

Try another anti virus software.

Yet if you are unable to uninstall the anti virus, you will have to format your PC.

Hello there,

The only solution is to format the hard drive and installing a fresh windows

You will need the Windows XP disc,

boot from the disc and format your partition is NTFS mode!

Then follow the instructions
