Hello,
I have established a peer to peer network using Win 98. When only using NetBEUI, I can only see one way through the link. Computer 1 can see and transfer to and from Computer 2 but not vice versa. Settings are the same on both machines and the hardware is obviously functioning. When I try to access Entire Network I get error message 'Unable to Browse Network.' Computer 1 does not see the Workgroup and just has Computer 2 as an icon under Entire Network icon in the Network Neighborhood folder.
Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 2.0.0.2

If you are sure that you have both ends of the network configured identically, then you have stumbled into a known Win 98 problem and you should install another protocol. But first I would try to reinstall everything on the offending computer with NetBEIU. IPX/SPX is easier to install than TCP/IP.
