Hello Sir,

can you please let me know about the new antivirus you have installed?

All you will have to do now is to restore your system

This should be done on safe mode!

Press F8 when your computer starts

Select Safe mode

Then click on Start, All Programs

Accessories > System Tools

Open System Restore

Select a date when your computer was running normally

Then click on Next

Thanks

Also this work. Go on safe mode and uninstall the old antivirus completely. What might be happening is that the two Antiviruses are conflicting with each other. Thats what happened with me.

I'm getting a similar thing on my old machine which runs Win XP, but can't even start safely in safe mode.
Windows starts and then a few seconds in just hangs. It may be due to the new Norton which pretty much downloaded itself, but its happening in safe mode just as much as in normal.
