Port forwarding for remote desktop connection

Hello,
Sir i want create reomte desktop connection via vnc or any other remote desktop software but it does not work bcoz in my office there are 5 pc connected with dlink switch and switch connected with bsnl dna-a211-1 adsl router and when i share one of these pc from another location it does not acess i think bcoz of port forwarding setting in router so how i configured my router so i share remote desktop

Configuration: Windows XP

Generally RDP uses port 3389, so if you forward that port with your devices, it should allow traffic through. Ontop of this, make sure it is an exception in the windows firewall settings (or if you have software for 3rd party firewall make sure you have exceptions in it.)
