Internet explorer cant able to open websites

Hello,

whenever i try to open a website by typing their URL. it always shows some error... or invalid address....

please help me

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 8.0

Hi,

cable is good condition..... but i dont knw y it s not working..... that too .. for some websites, some times.. not all the time...

Internet explorer cannot display the page..........

please i need a solution for this...
