Can't delete autorun.inf

Hello,
i am not able to locate autorun.inf in any of my drive except my usb drive through cmd prompt so i m not able to delete it using any command. the virus appears in my usb drive even after formating the pendrive from a clean pc
please help me what to do please plzzzzzzzz.

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

Hey saiyani,

What is happening that lets you know autorun.inf is on your pen drive? It's possible that a program (or virus) on your computer is trying to access a file on your pendrive which is not there.

Explain a little more, and I will see if I can help.
