Hello Sir,

Please read your modem's manual to know how to access the modem's configuration!

normally you will have to enter 192.168.1.1 on a browser to enter the setup!

This depends on the modem's model

Thanks

Hey Jaskaran,

If 192.168.1.1 does not open your routers configuration page, then it could mean that the router has been configured to use a different IP, such as 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.2.1.

Finding this out can be simple:
>go to command prompt
>type ipconfig
> check your IP address.

If your IP address starts with anything aside from 192.168.1.XX then 192.168.1.1 will not bring up the router config in your browser.

Let me know if this helps or not,

-Asten

Dear Asten,
ipconfig in command prompt indicates IP address to be 192.168.1.1.
Yet I am unable to open the console of modem (UTStarcom WA3002G4) by typing the URL in the browser.
Can you help.

Hey Vijaybhasker,

When you enter 192.168.1.1 into the browser and press Enter, does anything come up? Like "Page cannot be displayed" or anything of the sort?

Let me Know,
