Hello,

i have 300+ text files in which there are two or three columns (separated by Tab) and i need to get all these columns in a single excel spreadsheet, and I don't want to import each file in excel and then copy/paste the columns in a single sheet. that would obviously take me ages

How can i make this process a bit automatic?

Is there a way to append all text files in a single text file with all the columns? any script? (I can use Linux or windows)

Thanks for any help or idea...

Configuration: Windows XP / RHEL 5
Firefox 3.5.3
