Sony vaiovgn fz-240-e

Hello,
i baught an used sony vaio vgn fz-240-e. i have alot ofissues. first i dont have the administrstor password,so i cant download anything. my cd/dvd rom is not working. i cant find the password wizard in the control panel. i cant access the bios or system restore.i did notice alot of the files are in the open office3.0. i am strappedfor money and need help. can i use an usb flash drve to reboot or recover the password.also am using windows vista home premium 32 bit sp1.

My recommendation is reformat your computer because i have already encountered that kind of problem

in september 24 2009 i cant access all the data stored in the computer so i reformat it !

I have this same laptop and i am currently attempting to dso a windows reinstall on it. i cant locate the folder of junk that came wit it to see if it came with restore disks or not. would you happen to know if it has a built in system reinstall like hp's do, and if so what the f key is to activate it at the bios post?
