To remove Alpha Antivirus you may need an antimalware program like mbam. You can download this mbam and follow the removal procedure from this site.

There's free tools to try: http://www.superantispyware.com/
MalwareBytes anti-malware http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

If non of the above tools worked, try Spyware Doctor: http://www.pcindanger.com/alpha-antivirus-removal.html

There is only one site that I would trust when it comes to removing these rogues and it is BC. Half of the suggestions above require you to purchase a program, which is not fair.

I got scammed this way in the past.

BC has a guide up here:

Starn was right, if a site requires you to get the licensed version of programs like spyware doctor and so on, forget it, blocked those sites. I prefer sites that suggests fix using malwarebytes free program such as this.
