Hello,
I have two desktops one in my room and one across the hall in my daughter's room. The one in my daughter's room has the internet service with the modem. I just got a Linksys wireless router and I am not sure do I hook it up to my computer or my daughter's computer with the modem?

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.5.3

You hook up your modem to the router, then your daughters computer to the router and then yours wirelessly to the router.

set the ip address of your daughters to auto and set the router to dish out ip addresses (dhcp)
set yours to obtain auto as well
