Connecting laptop with tv

Hello,
when i connect my compaq presario f750 laptop with the sony bravia tv i get the picture but i cant get the sound on the tv.

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.5.3

Hello Sir,

I am sorry but you will have to connect your speaker system to your computer to get sound!!

You won't be able to get sound on your tv unless you use HDMI
