Hello,
I just got Hughesnet with my Vista PC. But I have two other PCs I am trying to hook up with a router (net gear) I have a Vista laptop and an XP desktop. They are both getting strong signals but no internet. I have been on the phone with netgear for hours and they say it is a PC problem not a router problem. I am so lost and frustrated. I have had Dial-up for so many years. I want this to work! Please help me.

Maybe its the problem of your wireless card or adapter. In the meantime, please put your wireless on (doesn’t matter if it gets a connection) and do this: Hold the Windows key and press R, then type CMD to open a command prompt: In the command prompt window that opens, type the following command: Note that there is a space before the /ALL, but there is NOT a space after the / in the following command. IPCONFIG /ALL Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter. Paste the results in a message here. |

as i know so far it may be a virus dear as it is ab-normal this trick so scan ur pc dear and get back to me if it is not a virus |
