Keboard typing comma letter by itself

Hello,
I have problem working on my Window Vista Laptop . Recently it got attacked by a virus ( do not know if it is really a virus ) . I am unable to type anything Internet explorer or any search place . Keyboard is typing "," letter by itself . Would any one please help , letting me know the details of the virus which could cause this and methods to heal this virus . I am unable to use the system or read any word document because of this issues.

Change the keyboard and try because the virus will not attack a key board it wont effect the hardwares it is only works on software files.

Thank you very much for the advice . I have tried changing the key board , but it did not help . even if i use an external keyboard , the issue still persisting .would you like to suggest any thing else to do ?

I have never heard of a virus attacking the keyboard, a script however may do this. Scripts are harder to catch with anti viruses since they are not really considered a virus. I have not tried this myself but try searching your computer for ".vbs", which is the most common script i believe.

Extra note: Windows uses scripts to update and install various things needed for the computer, make sure not to delete anything unless you are sure its a bad-guy script.

EDIT: It may not be that complicated either, before making a big deal out of this make sure the button in question isn't stuck or jammed down or something like that. I liek caekes

I also have a Vista laptop and having the exact same problem. Very frustrating! I would also like to know whats going on.
