Computer does not detect my Zen mp3 player

Hello,
I recently bought a new hard drive. I installed the software for the Zen player. It shows on my computer but when I plug in my player the computer does not recognize that it is plugged in. It tell me no device is found. How can I fix this problem. I deleted the software and reinstalled it. I changed plugs three times for the device but still will not detect the player.

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.5.3

Hi there,

if you recently installed windows

then you need to install the chipset drivers also

use driver cd and install it

I had the problem where my computer (newly put together) would not recognize my zen. So i tried it on my older computer and it also didnt detect it.

After a while of searching and not getting anywhere, i just connected my player and hit the reset button. maybe this will work for everyone else that has this problem
