Hello, all msn fix right here - to fix this issue, download msn messenger 9.0 beta from http://www.9down.com/Windows-Live-Messenger-9-0-Beta-Downloa­Â­d-19863/ , this will fix all your problems, its a bug in msn messenger 8.1 thats all, this beta works perfectly and keeps all your old contacts , worked first time for me, you dont need to uninstall your msn messenger you have on now, just double click to extract the archive and then open the extracted folder , and double click the msn 9.0 beta.exe and it uninstalls your previous msn and installs the new one , takes just a few seconds to log in as it is updating from your previous install, and its virus free too , hope this helps everyone out

Your wlcome, but saying that, msn live messenger 8, went back to normal the next day, all issues have been resolved, but it will on occassion discconnect here and there, but it works .

If you go to http://download.live.com/?sku=messenger , click download, this will download the latest windows messenger live , the file is clean and is small , when it has downloaded, open it and it will give you the options of what u want to install, i just installed the messenger, and it works flawless, this will solve any issues you have had, i hope this helps everyone out, i have not had a single issue, dont give up all, this works and virus free. just copy this link into your url and hit enter to go straight to the site.

I have installed it off that site twice now. tried deleting, copying contacts, i can't add more contacts, the strange thing is i don't have this issues on my laptop. i've restarted the program endless times, added and removes MSN live plus twice and reinstalled once, checked that all my contacts are hidden. i can't add contacts because "they are already on my list". I've also run the repair for messenger twice.
