Hello there,

All you will have to do is to move all your music to a pc!

You will need a software to do this, download copytrans software here:

http://www.copytrans.net/

Install it and then transfer your music

Thanks

You have to find the downloaded firmware, or google to redonwload the firmware. when you have downloaded it, place it on the desktop. then open up iTunes and go to iPod when you connect your iPod. then, Hold SHIFT and click on update. then, navigate to the firmware you downloaded and you can update to the newest firmware without losing your songs.
