Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0
Hello
I see you are using Windows Vista Business. If you were running XP, I would have a few options for you. Your best bet is probably just setting up local group policies, but this will affect everyone who uses the computer. Set a password on the account. When he wants to use the computer, you can log him in. You can then set a group policy for the computer to logout at a certain time. If you were running Vista Home Premium or Vista Ultimate you could use Parental Controls. I dont believe Vista Business has Parental Controls. But you can always go low tech and actually use Standard Parental Controls. Like telling his parents he is not allowed to stay up all night on the computer. I just don't understand why we don't start with basic parenting before we go with a technological option. |
