Hello,

i have just purchased a refurbished hp pc its a dc7100 ssf dx878av 3ghz winxppro sp2 1gigabyte ram. my dilemma is being refurbished the recovery part of the pc has been removed so you cannot recover to the o/s that’s currently on it. So just in case
at a later date i need to reformat i want to find the drivers for the Ethernet card, the sound and graphics card. I have been to hp downloads and i do not no which one's i need i was hopping someone here could direct me to the ones i need for this pc as i would probably d/load the wrong ones please help.

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello

Download and run it and it will tell you what models/ licenses/keys etc of everything (hardware/software) on your computer. Then you can find the drivers for those particular items.
As long as you are contacting HP, I believe you can purchase recovery cds from them.
