Hello,
I need some help. My bluetooth device on my Dell Inspiron 1721 has stopped working. Everything appears to look fine from the laptop end but when you try to connect using a mobile phone. . . connecting always fails. I have tried several different phones with no luck. I have also fiddled about with the settings but also getting no joy.

It is probably something really silly but I cant figure it out.

Thanks Guys
Your help is appreciated.

Anna

If you using Vista on your Dell Inspiron 1721 here is the link for the bluetooth 355 2.0 driver:

http://support.dell.com/...

just scroll down to network and the last link is the bluetooth driver.

If you are using XP then you have to use a different driver (as that one is only for Vista) you can try going to this one (it has been said that these two laptops use similar chipsets) just make sure that it says XP at the top under operating system :

hope it helps.
