Hello,



I have been using Firefox browser for years now. Lately it has started to crash, particularly when I am closing it down. A DOS type message flashes on the screen before the program closes. I am able to restart it immediately but I have lost all my bookmarks, which I can recover from the bookmarks backup.
Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello



Try disabling any extensions (or use safe mode) and see if the crash happens.
If not, enable them one at a time and see if you can identify the culprit.

Check the event viewer to see if the crash has an entry.
