Hello,
I think my neice downloaded a virus that is slowly eating the hard drive. Windows just started acting funny, was slow and things were popping up all over the place.I have tons of pics and some other files that now I can't even get to to try to copy them to save them. Any suggestions for a newbie here would be helpful. I do have McAfee and it was constantly saying trojan detected and deleted a ton of times then some other program named zunorowe kept popping up with an alert..that I have to buy this program to rid my pc of a virus...help ...I have tons of information I don't want to lose but maybe it is already too late.. I do have the original

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Your best bet would be to slave the hard drive to another computer that has solid av protection. and try to retrieve your files that way.
