Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0
Grab your Vista installation DVD & insert the DVD into your DVD-ROM drive.
Reboot the computer. When prompted, press any key to boot from the DVD. Go through the install steps & choose the drive to be formatted as where to install Windows. At the 'Where do you want to install Windows?' screen highlight the disk partition and click 'Drive options (advanced)'. Select the 'Format' option. All data on the drive will be permanently deleted. Choose 'OK'. When the format has completed, reboot the machine & that takes care of the format issue. |
