Hai can you check sound properties in contorl pannel
if you are connecting speakers means you need to change the settings

If no matching u'll have to re-install ur sound card.

845i isn't the name of ur MB, but the name of its chipset.

To find the name and the maker of ur MB: Start/Run, type dxdiag + OK

My computer is made by Fujitsu Seimens Computera GmbH, 250V - 50HZ , 4,0 A/ made in Germany.

Hey, guys. there are a prb to me. when i'm instaling sound driver ( i downloaded it from net) there some prob, during the instalation. it appeared a talbe with announce that this driver isn't pass testing xp logo, or the driver is not compatibility with xp. i don't know what to do... how i know why my windows not allowed to install it?

Just continue with the install. All that message means is that they did not pay Microsoft to certify the software. It should still work OK.
