Hello,

I need some advice. My anti-virus recently expired and I hadn't renewed in time because I was out of town. I was on my laptop (HP) yesterday on the internet when it crashed. The 'Blue Screen' showed up and then it turned off. I tried to restart but when I get to the screen with the 'safe mode' and other options, no matter which one I choose it goes blue for an instant and turns off again. I'd really rather not take it in, is there any at home remedies I could try for this?

Anyone experienced this before and know what they'll end up doing if I do take it in to Geek Squad?

Thanks so much.

Configuration: Windows Vista
Firefox 3.5.1

Hi There
It might be the problem of memory dump, just check the ram with your hardware vendor.
