Hi venkat,

i tried the url, but it did not work, as it is my office id i am not able to give it out,
but i also download from another site i am sending that hyperlink.
just help me in that, and i will try it with my official id

i download that data from NSEINDIA

here also i change the date every day in the last (just that the month should always be in caps or the data doesnot download)

suppose A1 has date 9/14/09-try this formula

in an empty cell copy paste this formula. In some versions there will be a mess up
so in an empty cell first type single quote(')and then copy paste this formula with not space between single quote and this text
and then highlight this cell delete the leading single quote and ENTER.

when you change A1 automatically this formula also will change
