Hello,my pc has been playing up for ages it started crashing while playing cod4,so i first thought it may be my graphics card which is a zotax geforce 8800gt,so i have removed that and i am just using onboard graphics at the moment.
My pc keeps going to a blue screen and gets stuck in a loop going back to the restart windows using last good configuration page.
I have re-installed windows about 8 times now and everything seems to be running fine for about a week. Now i am using fedora from a flash pen drive just to access the internet and to transfer my files across to my other partition. Now when i start my pc all the power comes on and i have to hold the power button in until it switches off,if i keep repeating that eventually i get a beep and then my pc boots, but it seems to be getting worse.I have had the same problem before and sent it back to the dealer under my warranty and the symptoms where exactly the same no boot and only fans power up,they said it was the power supply.
But i have recently upgraded my power supply to an ez-cool ps-900 when i brought my graphics card.
If it is the power supply is there any reason why this keeps happening.
Ihope someone can shed some light on this as i am about to throw the thing through the window.
I normally run windows but am only using fedora temporarily
Thanks
Configuration: Linux Fedora Firefox 3.5
