Normally you can't share programs by running a program installed on one computer from another. Exceptions are if the program is a network version. Otherwise you need the program installed on the local machine. You may be able to work with files from the other installation.
All the above is by design. Multiple user versions of programs are more expensive than single user. |
Just go to tools and then folder option, view and scroll down and turn off the "Use Simple File Sharing".Then right click on the Programfiles folder you want to share over network and share it and then go to permission and click everyone and then click full control. Then go to security tab and then click on add and add everyone from the list and allow full control permission. Then apply and exit. |
I want to install quickbooks in a network system to be used by varies users. but have realised that when I share on one computer the other doesnot work. it give the installation KEY and then tell you to install another quick books with a different key. how should I go about that to sove the problem? |
