MS Word - Permanent Weird Symbols

Hello,



I accidentally pressed some hot-key similar to copy+paste, and now I have these permanent dots and Paragraph symbols all over the place. I exited the document, opened a new one, but they start to appear while typing. I restarted my computer and tried again. I goggled around and found nothing.


Anybody knows how to disable these weird symbols from showing up while I type?

If you go up to the top of the page where the zoom is, next to it on the left should be the same symbol you see on the page, a reverse P looking icon. Click on it. This will either hide or show the symbols on the page.
