Ipod won't play my songs?

Hello,
my ipod turns on fine and my songs appear on it, but when i try to play them they dont and when i try to forward the songs it just resets itself. ive tried everyting possible but nothing seems to work. my itunes wont detect my ipod so i cant reset it, and when i reset it manually nothing happens it just stays the same as before i dont know what to do. pls help

I can't play a video file. What's wrong? ShowYou probably need codecs. The one I use is called the K-Lite Codec Pack which includes a nice bunch of codecs. You might also want to try VLC Media Player which features a host of codecs built-in.

Hi there,

try resetting it (press the center + menu button till an apple appears)

2) charge it for 20 minutes, toggle the hold button, and then reset it till it works

3) song might be a virus so try deleting it

4) go to your nearest electronic store for help

5) check the apple site for support or call them
