Hello,
i'm changed into xp from vista, but there is only system sounds (error sound etc, no startup sound) and media players showinderroe report on sound divice, my laptop is c.presario v6000. plz help me

Wat is the company's name in your laptop?
There has to be if it's Intel or any other company.
When u format a pc u should first get the company name of Sound/Lan in order to get them back later.
