Troubles playing cod4 online

Hello,
i love playing cod4 and hav played it on my ps3 4 da past year until just recently when i havnt been able 2 play properly. When i go FIND GAME it says DOWNLOADING GAME SETTINGS... and never loads past thats screen i have tried reseting the router and that sometimes works but not often can some1 tell me my problem eg bad router or anything. I also play this game at me dads with no problems but when im at my mums no luck some1 pleeasssee help =(
