IF you had your system built by a reputable shop, it should still be under warranty. If a friend built it for you, you may be out of luck. It's not uncommon that a PSU will fry other hardware when it blows. Before taking it to the shop, I suggest you open the case & get the info off the PSU label (brand name, overall wattage & rated amperages on the +3.3v, +5v & +12v rails), then post it. One of us will be able to tell you if the PSU is/was a cheapie. As for the rest of your components, you won't know until you get them tested. |
hi cracker,this is a dangerous stuff,imagine u were not there and it lit up???????pffff,,so it is under warrntly????if yes go back to them and scold them as you say it is a new one so how this happened,,,, |
