Counting Text String In A Cell

Hello,
I Have an issue im trying to over come i have enterd some order numbers in a cell holding alt and enter after each to show me a list like "8285275
8287938
8280744
8286546
8286844
8289509"

if i copy and paste the items in a formted non "wraped text" cell it shows

"8285275[]8287938[]8280744[]8286546[]8286844[]8289509"

These are all in one cell due to the other information enterd so i canot seperate them but im looking for a sum to count how many orders are on a specific shipment so in this case i neeed the value 6?

any more know any i could use?
