Hello,

My laptop up and down arrow keys are not working although the left and right keys are. There does not seem to be any problem with the keys (i.e. being broken). The up and down keys dont work anywhere e.g. online or microsoft office. Can someone please help???

Regards

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 8.0

Hello, delicate situation you got ..

Have you try opening the keyboard plate to clean it, if the contacts on the board get dirty they stop working, but it generally happen after something got on the keys such as a liquid.

A temporary solution would be to connect a USB KEyboard to you laptop to work normally
