Need for speed ms install problem

Hello,
I trying to install Nfsmw but it dosen't let me. The installation comes up and i wait for a moment and this message comes up A problem occurred when trying to transfer the file 'SOUND\PFDATA\MW_Music.mus' from the media. Can some one please help me??

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.5

Hye,
try to clean the cd. perhaps there is some oil/glue on the cd that prevent you from reading the needed file
It happened to me several times

Hope the cd is in good condition and not damage, try copying the dvd to you local disk, if it is a read problem due to foreign material on the disc or damaged cd it will give you an error about redundant cyclic error

Hi there,

you should get another copy if the game

or
make a folder and copy all to it

and start installation from there

if while copying you get the error cannot copy some files

then definitely the cd is corrupted
