Realtek hd acer internal microphone not worki

Hello,

My Acer one Realtek built in microphone doesn't work. I've checked and maxed out all the
volume controls I could find and I get nothing. Is there anything I could do or check ?

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.5.2

Hello

Try to check which default input device is selected by windows, go to you control panel, open Sound and audio devices

Select the audio tab

For the sound recording the selected should be realtek hd audio input

test it and give me the feedback

Hi there,

are you sure the laptop has inbuilt microphone?

have you tested it from another microphone?

are your drivers installed?

please give more information
